CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Adaptation and Evaluation of a Brief, Nurse-Delivered Sexual Risk Reduction Intervention for HIV-Positive Women in the South.? $200,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2005 to fund approximately one to two awards. The purpose of the project is to adapt and evaluate a prevention intervention for the growing population of HIV-positive women in the Southern United States (US), and to study factors associated with risk among women.
